New Year, New Intentions

As we transition from one year into the next, we tend to reflect and even regret some of our actions and decisions made in the last calendar year. We are plagued with "should haves" and "what ifs" and "maybe next years." We set resolutions and intentions to change who we are, how we look, and how we live. We begin a new year with the intent to create a "new me" or "fresh start."
What if, instead, we resolve to celebrate who we are, what we have, and practice gratitude for the life we are given, without the need to punish our bodies or change what is. Can we resolve to love ourselves in the best way we know how? Instead of "eat less" or "work out more" or "get a new job" - can we nourish our body, mind, heart and soul with food, company, and experiences that make us feel full and connected and mindful and free? And why wait until the new year? Why not now? How about a Right Now Resolution? What is holding you back from living your best life---right now? What can you control, and what can you let go of, in this moment? For me, my Right Now Resolution is to love myself more. To quit picking myself apart and hating the little flaws that ultimately make me, Me. I resolve to take back my power and my confidence by rekindling a passionate connection to my unique, incredible body and everything it is capable of. To let go of the "what ifs" and "should haves" and reignite the fire within.
What's your Right Now Resolution?
